After many many steps, literal and metaphysical, we have finally produced a teaser for 3000 Steps, the film project I have been developing with the Khasi tribe in Meghalaya, North east India.
This would not have been possible without the kind help of friends and colleagues whose faith in the project has helped me persist when set backs and lack of funding have been in the way.

And now the journey continues to develop the story and find funding to make a feature length documentary about this unique indigenous tribe. They have so much to teach us around gender equality and how to take care of the environment. They have been doing it for centuries, they know more than we do. We need to listen and learn from them, now more than ever for the sake of humanity’s future. We need to cooperate, connect and share. We need to build bridges.
